It's Done

I have been working like crazy to get a few things new for market and I just overnighted my last project to my mom two hours ago. It is such a relief! I had fun making the new projects though and I hope that they are a hit. Here is the latest. It is called Sweet Caroline! I had so much fun using these bright colors!

Slacker, I know!

I am so sorry that I have not posted anything forever. I moved across country, abby started school, and my husband started a new job. It's been a little nuts. I love my new home though, I actually have a Sewing Room! Yeah. Here are a couple pictures. . . I just had to show you my long arm machine, isn't it so fun.

Isn't it so bright and fun. I abolutely love it, and I can watch the kids play outside or downstairs which is awesome. Thank you Cory for getting a job so that we can have this new house to live in.

I finished something!

This "Eat Cake" pattern was taught by Lori Holt at the American Quilting Retreat this past month, and I got to take the class. Lori is such a great teacher. Don't look to close though, I tried a new way of applique, and it's a bit crooked. Even though it is not perfect, I had tons of fun making it. I need a cute easel to display it on now.

New Pattern!

Under The Garden Moon is coming out with a new pattern. What do you think? Here are some of the farmyard animals that I have been appliqueing lately. They obviously need some details added (eyes, legs on the chicken, details on the veggies, etc) but they are looking so cute I thought I would share some of what is coming. There will be more sneak peaks coming!

Candy Canes

I found these cute candy canes at Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. website and thought that I should make a few. They were fun and easy. Although, I could totally use some tips for stuffing really skinny holes if anyone has any tips. I made them into ornaments and added some ribbon bows, but they would totally be darling in a cute bowl or cup or something. If you have trouble finding where they are on the website, let me know and I can attatch the instructions.
Love, Mindy
Merry Christmas

"Jingles" the elf

"Jingles" is our family elf who helps Santa keep a close eye on our family and always reports back to the big guy. Sometimes you will see a green flash by the window or something and we always know that it must have been Jingles. I was so excited to see these cookies represented this year on behalf of the best elf ever. Thanks Jingles. Can't wait to get our jammies this year.
I needed a runner for my table and am happy that I found this top stashed away to be quilted.

Time definitely goes by.

I finally got my background done for our "As Time Goes By" pattern, and am so excited to display it in my house this year. Especially the snowman. Isn't he soo cute. Because we are sticking around in Oreland, PA this year for Thanksgining, Christmas and such, I am getting really excited to decorate for the holidays. Even though I am soo sick of my small 2 bedroom apartment, the Christmas decor will definately help me make it through these next few months of gray, cold weather. I love the holidays and will miss my family very much. If you have not seen the "As time goes by" patterns, check them out on our website.

There are 12 different backgrounds for the quilt so you can interchange them each month.
Everyone that has made them absolutely loves each and every one.
